D.L. Hughley was hospitalized overnight for observation after he passed out while performing at Zanies Nashville Comedy Club on Friday night (June 19).

D.L.’s rep released the following statement to TMZ:
[D.L.] is suffering from exhaustion after all the week’s work and travel, and was kept overnight at the hospital for tests under doctor’s orders. He is awake and feeling better, and wishes to thank everyone for the very kind prayer and thoughts.
D.L. Hughley returned to social media on Saturday morning and was retweeting messages of support from his fans.
When someone encouraged him to get check out, he responded, “Here now.”
