Cardi B and JT of the City Girls have been font-fighting and trading shade in the streets of Twitter all day long!
Apparently, fans pitted the women against each other and they fell into the trap.
Ironically, JT is also featured on Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Freaky Girl (Remix)” that Akbar V is on.
It was just a week ago, that Cardi and Akbar had a war of words on Twitter.
Y’all see where I’m going with this? There is a common denominator here!
I lost quite a few brain cells on this one, but here’s what appears to have happened.
A JT hate page on Twitter instigated the nonsense by celebrating GloRilla‘s Top 10 hit with Cardi B, while taking shots at JT, Akbar V, Bia, and Katie Got Bandz.
JT congratulated Glo, but seemingly took a shot at Cardi B:
im not like that at alllll I been doing remixes & never got credited ON A CHART BUT they get sung word for word and help push the original songs as intended unlike y’all well I can’t even say y’all cause you don’t rap, you TWEET! Congratulations Glo&stream FNF remix AND QUEENMIX
See the tweet below.
Cardi dropped a subliminal tweet that read, “Lapdog.”
JT tweets, “I hope you don’t think you no BULLY!!! Weiner dog!”
Cardi doubled down by tweeting, “Go fetch.”
Apparently, Cardi B and JT, who were very cool with each other at one point and even collaborated on “Twerk,” were trying to squash their differences via Direct Message (DM).
Those efforts were short-lived when Cardi seemingly brought their issues to her timeline.
JT called her out by tweeting, “Cardi you go fetch a real talent! We DM’ing why you come back here to put on a show for these KIDS?”
Cardi B responded, “So wait, me and you talking in the DM woman to woman, but YOU take it to your timeline and throw shots calling me a bully and a wiener… Why you playing dumb? And YOU talking about a talent?! haaaaa! You forgot P tried to put me on wit your writer?”
JT tweeted, “That was BEFORE you replied!!!! & said you was talking about ME! So tell the world why you said I’m a lap dog cardi! No you wanted our written!!! For our hooks for our sound cause you clearly have none! Ask ANY writer! I write my OWN sh*t!!! You know this.”
See and read the rest of the tweets below.
But, the shenanigans and tomfoolery didn’t end there.
Nicki Minaj inserted herself into the drama by changing her profile pic to a photo of JT.
Cardi B, in turn, changed her profile pic to a photo of Remy Ma.
I would be remiss if I didn’t give you a few Twitter reactions to the shenanigans and tomfoolery.
Read the tweets below.
Whew, chile! Can’t we all just get along?
Like I said at the beginning of this post, there is always a common denominator when the rap girls start beefing.
At this point, it’s sad and flat-out tiring!
