All fans aren’t good fans. Cardi B deleted her Twitter account on Sunday night (April 3) after her fans went into attack mode because she didn’t attend the Grammys.

The Hip Hop star’s hit single, “Up,” was nominated for Best Rap Performance, but the award went to Baby Keem for “Family Ties.

But, that’s beside the point.

Apparently, her fans were extremely disappointed because they are “barely getting fed and they want to see her.”

When Cardi informed them she was at home in New York City, one fan responded:

You literally could’ve said that, as fans that barely get fed WE WANT TO SEE YOU what do you expect, you could’ve said something period.

Another fan wrote:

My thing is why hype us up if you know you not going from the jump? She need to take her fans more seriously cuz this is getting ridiculous I’m sorry.

Cardi B responded to the tweet writing:

When did I hype y’all up? Where and when did I ever gave hints? Like are you ok? I’m not going to a award if I don’t got a new song to perform or my album ain’t out…Next year but shorty you gotta chill THE F**K

One fan went as far as bringing up Cardi’s son writing:

I bet yo son wouldn’t like for you to be on your *ss while teasing us fans and not ever dropping music…

Cardi responded, “I hope your moms die.”

Don’t mention my kids the f**k why bring my son up,” she added.

After reaching her wit’s end, Cardi B deleted her Twitter account after sharing one last thought:

I’m deleting my Twitter but On God I hate this f**kin dumb*ss fan base.

You got the slow dumb*asses dragging my kids cause y’all thought I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f**k?

When the f**k I hinted I was going? Just f**kin stupid I can’t I need to protect myself.

It’s crazy how perfect strangers feel entitled to the life of these celebrities and the moment they don’t comply they are under attack.

But, let’s not forget “fan” is short for “fanatic,” which means: a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal.

I’m glad Cardi B had the wherewithal to protect her peace and leave the app.

Edited to add: She has also deactivated her Instagram account.
