It looks like Cardi B will be kissing Santa Claus under the mistletoe this Christmas after announcing her split from Migos rapper Offset.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, began raising eyebrows last week when she went on live and started talking that New Year – New Me talk.
You gotta rid of dead weight, and when it comes to dead weight…
I’ll say mentality, procrastination, laziness, and people.
A lot of people are dead weight, too.
Next year is gonna be all about me.
Then, it was confirmed Cardi B and her husband Offset, whose real name Kiari Cephus, were no longer following each other on social media.
On Sunday, the shizznit hit the fan after Blueface publicly accused Chrisean Rock of sleeping with Offset.
Blueface was in his feelings because Chrisean Rock covered up that hideous tattoo of him on her neck.
So, he took to Twitter writing:
Being tatted on a h— is not a flex. You literally f— Cardi B husband a couple weeks ago.
I’m tired of n— looking at me while they f— you get the rest of them gone asap please.
Offset quickly took to Twitter to deny sleeping with Chrisean and told Blueface he needs “some help.”
I ain’t never talk to or touch that lady.
Real talk man you need some help!
Cardi B joined the conversation to let everyone know this ain’t her circus because she’s single.
I don’t care about none of that. I don’t want you to put me in none of that.
I don’t know if y’all been getting clues from me from my Lives…from my Stories.
When it comes to today’s events and stuff I don’t think it’s true. I don’t care to find out because I have been single for a minute now, but I have been afraid… not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world.
But, I feel like today has been a sign.
Cardi B added that she’s looking forward to a fresh start and she’s excited about what the future holds.
I want to start 2024 like fresh… open. I don’t know, I’m curious for a new life, a new beginning, and yeah, I am excited. New look, new life, new everything.

Cardi B and Offset tied the knot in September 2017 and welcomed two beautiful children together, Kulture Kiari in 2018, and Wave Set in September 2021.
This isn’t the first time the two have called it quits.

In 2018, Cardi and Offset broke up and reunited after he was caught cheating.
Then, in September 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” for the demise of their union.
One month later, the “Bongos” rapper spoke about the divorce in two audio clips on Twitter to shut down rumors of abuse in their marriage.
I didn’t really want to talk about my relationship s— because I know y’all sick and tired of me going back and forth with Offset.
Y’all sound f— crazy when you start using the word ‘abusive.’ I’m not in a physically abusive relationship. I’m not in a mentally abusive relationship. I have choices.
Cardi B also said that she filed for divorce to teach Offset a lesson.
If I want to go to an extreme to teach a n— a f—lesson and f— file for divorce, I could do that. It’s my life.
I’m not getting no f— abuse!
In November 2020, the divorce case was “dismissed without prejudice” and they were drunk in love once again.
In June, Offset and Cardi B had a falling out and he took to Instagram and accused her of cheating on him.
Offset later explained why he made such a wild accusation about his wife.
So that post, to be honest, me and her, that’s my wife, I love her to death. We going back and forth. And if you’ve got a New York woman, you know she’s a pit bull at the mouth.
She get crazy at the mouth a little bit, and I was really lit that night. We was going back and forth and I’m like, ‘Watch this.’ And it’s like she got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day and she crazy, man … We’re crazy for each other.
I think it’s safe to say that Cardi B and Offset have a passionate, immature, and volatile relationship.
When it’s good – it’s great! And when it’s bad – it’s hell.
It’s unclear if this is just another roller coaster ride for Mr. and Mrs. Cephus or if Cardi B is truly exiting the Universoul Circus.
