Karlissa Saffold, Blueface’s Mother, Talks About Her Grandson’s Private Photo & The Way He Was Harnessed In Walmart

Karlissa Saffold, rapper Blueface’s mother, recently shared her opinion on a private photo of her grandson being put on the internet and him being improperly harnessed by his mother, Chrisean Rock, inside a Walmart.

Karlissa Stafford said she is more upset about the footage of her grandson inside the Walmart not properly supported inside a harness, given his birth defect, than about his private photo, exposing his hernia, being shared on the internet.

She said at first, she was outraged by the photo, but after doing some research, she found other parents sharing pictures online of babies with hernias, in an attempt to help other parents cope.

She also said she feels Chrisean is capable of raising a child, but as a new mother, she needs help.

Karlissa offered to help in any way she could, and she said she would never take a child away from a mother that she felt was capable of raising that child.

Um, initially I was outraged, of course. Um, cause that was my first time seeing it.

So, I was more concerned with what I was looking at, um, versus the post.

Um, I didn’t feel that the post… I mean once I went and looked at other posts on the internet, I found tons of babies, um, where parents are sharing, you know, that type of hernia, or that type of defect, um, to help other parents cope.

I don’t think there’s anything illegal because when I looked it up… Whoever posted the video, I don’t feel like it’s illegal because it’s a defect.

It’s obviously not in a porn-type of situation. Whoever posted the pictures was probably concerned that the family should actually know, um, what’s going on.

She might want to know if that runs in our family, you know what I’m saying?… Or our history.

We should of… Instead of it being embarrassing my baby she should’ve just been more open about, ‘Hey, is this happening to anybody in your family? And how was it taken care of?’

No, it hasn’t happened to anyone in our family, but I feel like that should’ve been more concerned about him instead of the embarrassment.

…He said his phone was hacked so, I mean, if he didn’t do it, baby mama could’ve did it, I mean, they take turns with his phone. I don’t know who did it!

If he said he didn’t do it, then there’s nothing I can do about that.

I feel like he’s hurt, um, they’re both hurt, they’re doing some vicious stuff to one another.

This usually happens at the end of a breakup, so, I mean, what can we do? You know, I mean, people usually go at when they’re going their separate ways, there’s a child involved, there’s three kids involved, you know what I’m saying?

My take is still, um, I’ll never ever support him against one of his children. I’m 100% team babies.

So, if he’s not gonna step in I’m here for whatever she needs.

Um, and I would not be speaking to him or having any type of relationship with him unless he was having one with his kids, so…

Um, I don’t think that she’s incapable of taking care of the baby at this point. I do feel like, um, somebody needs to definitely step in and oversee how things are being handled because of the way she had him in the Walmart.

Um, and not… I didn’t know, at the time no one knew that he had that situation. So, why would he even be in a harness with an uncomfortable area? You know what I mean? So, I was upset about that more than I was upset about the photo.

…I would never take a woman’s child from her unless she just absolutely could not take care of the baby.

Um, and I think that Rock wants to take care of the baby.

She’s a new mom, she needs some assistance.

Um, but I would definitely not take anyone’s child from them without it being absolutely necessary.
