What “Cape Fear” Is About
“Cape Fear” draws inspiration from the novel The Executioners and the 1991 film adaptation.
The story follows married attorneys Anna and Tom Bowden, whose lives take a frightening turn when Max Cady, a man they helped put behind bars, is released from prison.
Max Cady is not trying to move on. He wants revenge, and he sets his sights directly on the family he blames for his fate.
With Javier Bardem stepping into this role, you can already feel the intensity coming.
