Bryan Tanaka took to Instagram the day after Christmas to announce he and Mariah Carey have ended their 7-year relationship.
In a statement, the 40-year-old dancer said his split from the R&B diva was “amicable” and their “decision to embark on different paths is mutual.”
Bryan noted that “the memories we’ve created and the artistic collaboration are etched in my heart forever.”
He made it a point to “express my love and appreciation for Mariah and her incredible children, whose warmth and kindness have enriched my life in ways words cannot capture.”
Bryan Tanaka asked for understanding, privacy, and respect during this “sensitive time.”
