(This post was updated on May 11, 2023, with the baby’s name and a photo.) Robert De Niro is officially a father of seven.
The 79-year-old Oscar-winning actor confirmed he recently welcomed a baby while doing press for his forthcoming movie, About My Father.
Robert corrected interviewer Brittnee Blair when she said he had six kids.
He corrected her saying, “Seven, actually. I just had a baby.”
Robert De Niro doesn’t classify himself as a “cool dad,” but he gets the job done.
I’m okay. You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful. My daughter, who’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But, that’s what it is.

Robert De Niro’s children range from ages 51 to newborn with four women.
There’s Drena De Niro, 51, and Raphael De Niro, 46, from his first marriage to Diahnne Abbott.

Gia was born on April 6, 2023, weighing 8 pounds and 6 ounces.

You may recall that during the holidays, Robert De Niro busted a woman in his Upper East Side home stealing gifts from under his Christmas tree.
Hopefully, he’s added a little extra security with a newborn in the house.
About My Father
In About My Father, Robert De Niro plays the role of Salvo, an immigrant hairdresser, who goes on a weekend get-together with his son, Sebastian (Maniscalco), and his fiancée.
The weekend develops into what can only be described as a culture clash, leaving Sebastian and Salvo to discover that the great thing about family is everything about family.
