The streets of social media are cutting up after Glamour Magazine UK allegedly misquoted Halle Bailey as saying she was married to DDG and pregnant.
Glamour Magazine UK, Keep Halle Bailey’s Name Out Your Mouth (Will Smith voice)
The popular magazine appears to have borrowed a quote from another interview and added it to Halle’s feature.
The quote reads:
Being a mum, being newly married- there’s the positive side of it, but also the negative. i want to show that although things might look perfect from the exterior, that’s not always the case.
It doesn’t take rocket science or Blues Clues to pick up on the fact that Halle Bailey wouldn’t be saying “mum” to anyone – especially in an interview.
But, I digress…
The quote is actually from an interview with former Little Mix singer, Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
The timing of the misquote seemingly only piled on to the social media reactions and speculation about whether or not The Little Mermaid star is pregnant.

Social Media Reacts
Both Halle Bailey and Glamour magazine are currently trending as people react to the suspiciously timed “misquote.”
One person tweeted:
The Glamour Magazine editor who used Leigh Anne’s quote from their interview with her for their interview with Halle Bailey should be fired for this because this is so unprofessional and unethical. I don’t understand how an editor can even make a mistake like this.
