Babyface (pictured above with his band) took to his Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon to say he is “saddened” by Anita Baker’s decision to remove him from her “Songstress Tour.”
Anita announced that she felt it was in her best interest to do so after enduring cyberbullying, verbal abuse, and threats of violence from his fanbase.

Babyface said, “It’s unfortunate and disheartening to see how things have played out via social media.”
The 11X Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer noted that there is no love lost between him and the diva.
“While I was looking forward to the rest of the dates, I have nothing but love & respect for Anita and I wish her the best for the remainder of her tour.”

The “End of the Road” songwriter is being praised for being a “class act” in the comments section of his post.
Face is also being encouraged to headline his very own tour.
