A$AP Rocky was arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday (April 20) in connection with a November 2021 shooting.
According to the LAPD, the shooting took place on November 6, 2021, after an argument between two acquaintances in the area of Selma and Argyle avenues in Hollywood.
The argument escalated and resulted in the rapper allegedly firing a handgun at the victim, who sustained a minor injury to his left hand.
A$AP Rocky and two others fled the scene on foot.
The day after the shooting, Rocky performed at Complex Con in Long Beach.
The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Meyers, had just returned on a private jet from vacationing in Barbados with Rihanna when he was arrested on Wednesday.
He has been charged with suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Police have executed a search warrant on A$AP’s home.
Meanwhile back at LAPD headquarters… the rapper has lawyered up and is expected to be booked soon.
Rihanna is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
