Apple TV has unveiled a first look at “Imperfect Women,” an upcoming psychological thriller that already feels primed to mess with our emotions in the best possible way.

The eight-episode limited series stars and is executive produced by Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington, two women who know a thing or two about commanding the screen and keeping viewers on edge.

Created for television by Annie Weisman (“Physical,” “Based on a True Story”), who also serves as showrunner, “Imperfect Women” will make its global debut on Apple TV on Wednesday, March 18, with the first two episodes dropping at launch.

New episodes will roll out weekly every Wednesday through April 29, which means spring is officially booked.

Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, the series centers on a devastating crime that fractures a decades-long friendship between three women.

As the investigation unfolds, so does the unsettling truth about loyalty, betrayal, guilt, and the quiet compromises that can permanently alter lives.

At its core, “Imperfect Women” explores how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.

Trust issues, activated.

Joining Moss and Washington is a stacked ensemble cast that includes Kate MaraJoel KinnamanCorey StollLeslie Odom Jr.Audrey ZahnJill WagnerRome FlynnSheryl Lee RalphViolette LinnzIndiana ElleJackson KellyKeith CarradineAna Ortiz, and Wilson Bethel.

Yes, the call sheet alone deserves applause.

Behind the scenes, the limited series is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios.

Weisman continues her collaboration with Apple TV following the critically acclaimed “Physical.”

Moss executive produces alongside Lindsey McManus under their Love & Squalor Pictures banner, while Washington executive produces via Simpson Street with Pilar Savone.

Author Araminta Hall and writer Kay Oyegun also serve as executive producers, and Lesli Linka Glatter directs and executive produces the first episode.

In short, this team is not playing around.

With its layered storytelling, powerhouse performances, and a mystery rooted in friendship and fractured trust, “Imperfect Women” looks ready to become Apple TV’s next must-watch obsession.

Messy friendships, dark secrets, and elite talent. That combo rarely misses.
