The Head | HBO Max | February 4

A small team remains at the Polaris VI International Research Station during the winter months. When the base loses communications with the outside world, a group led by Johan, the summer commander, returns to investigate. They find most of the crew to be dead, only two remaining survivors, and realize Johan’s wife is missing. Only the two survivors can shed light on the crimes, but they are also the main suspects telling contradictory recounts.

Bliss | Amazon Prime Video | February 5

Bliss is a mind-bending love story following Greg (Owen Wilson) who, after recently being divorced and then fired, meets the mysterious Isabel (Salma Hayek), a woman living on the streets and convinced that the polluted, broken world around them is just a computer simulation. Doubtful at first, Greg eventually discovers there may be some truth to Isabel’s wild conspiracy.

Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All | Lifetime | February 6

The two-hour documentary promises to tell the untold story of the lives and deaths of the legendary singer and her daughter. “Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All” features commentary from Pebbles, Randy Jackson, Cherrelle, Whitney’s ex-sister-in-law Tina Brown, Whitney’s former creative director Tiffanie Dixon, former Fulton County prosecutor Mai Greene, and Whitney’s goddaughter Brandi Boyd.

Queen Sugar | OWN | February 16

Canine Intervention | Netflix | February 24

Canine Intervention follows renowned Oakland dog trainer, Jas Leverette, as he runs one of the top dog training facilities in California. Cali K9 works with all breeds and are confident in being able to correct any type of behavior issue. There is no dog they can’t help and they’ve never turned a dog away. Using his unique training methods and techniques, each episode will feature Jas as he works with a variety of dogs and their owners to fix their obedience and behavior issues.

The United States vs. Billie Holiday | Hulu | February 26

The Lee Daniels-directed film, starring Andra Day and Trevante Rhodes, follows Holiday during her career as she is targeted by the Federal Department of Narcotics with an undercover sting operation led by black Federal Agent Jimmy Fletcher, with whom she had a tumultuous affair.
