Young Buck Is Back In The Concrete Motel
Rapper Young Buck is spending the next 30 days in a Tennessee jail.
The G-Unit rapper was booked into Sumner County Jail on Monday afternoon, according to online jail records.
Why? Buck reportedly violated the terms of his bond supervision, and the judge wasn’t having it.
What Led To Buck’s Latest Arrest?
Eric Mauldin, the Assistant District Attorney for Sumner County, told TMZ that Buck was supposed to meet twice a month with his bond supervisor while wearing a GPS monitor.
These conditions were tied to two active cases — one involving drug charges and the other a domestic violence case.
When Buck failed to meet the supervision requirements, the D.A. filed for a hearing.
That hearing happened on April 7, and the judge hit him with 30 days in county jail.
What Happens After The 30 Days?
Once Buck completes the 30-day sentence, the court will hold another hearing to decide if he’ll be allowed back out on bond — or if he’ll have to stay behind bars until his legal matters are resolved.
Buck’s History With The Law
If this sounds familiar, it’s because Young Buck has a long history of legal run-ins.
Back in February 2022, he was arrested in Nashville after allegedly kicking his girlfriend’s car during an argument — which led to a vandalism charge.
In August 2016, Buck ended up in federal lockup for a weekend after he was accused of violating probation.
That happened after another arrest where police claimed he threatened to burn down his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.
He also served 18 months in federal prison starting in August 2012, after pleading guilty to gun possession charges.
He did his time at Yazoo City Medium Security Federal Prison in Mississippi.
Where Does He Go From Here?
Young Buck’s been trying to make a comeback in music, but his legal troubles keep pulling him back.
For fans hoping to see him back on top, this latest setback is disappointing — but not unexpected.
His name still rings bells in the streets and in hip-hop circles, but if he’s ever going to get back to the music full-time, something’s gotta give.
