🐎 Kayce Dutton Rides Again
Baybeeee, the Dutton drama is far from over! Luke Grimes is officially returning as Kayce Dutton in a brand-new “Yellowstone” spinoff titled “Y: Marshals.”
CBS dropped the news on May 7, confirming the series is set to premiere midseason next year.
While they’re keeping plot details locked up tighter than the Dutton vault, it’s safe to assume Kayce’s wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and their son Tate will be along for the ride.
🐂 What Went Down In The Finale
If you watched the “Yellowstone” series finale (and I know you did), then you remember the emotional mic drop.
Kayce saved the ranch—but not in the way we expected.
He sold the land to Chief Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) at its original value of $1.25 an acre.
Why? Because he was playing the long game.
But of course, Kayce had a clause: his family keeps the East Camp.
The series wrapped with him and Tate buying cattle, setting the stage for a whole new chapter.
And now? That chapter is called “Y: Marshals.”
🎬 What Grimes Said About A ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff
Even before the finale aired, Luke Grimes teased us by saying there were always “rumblings” about a continuation.
But he made it clear—if Taylor Sheridan isn’t feelin’ it, it’s not happening.

“He has to see it to write it,” Grimes told PEOPLE. “We’ll just have to wait and see if he gets excited about an idea.” Well, clearly… he did.
🔥 Other ‘Yellowstone‘ Spinoffs In The Works
Taylor Sheridan isn’t letting up.
Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox are leading “The Madison,” another spinoff about a grieving New York fam starting fresh in Montana.
And yes, the streets are still buzzing about a possible Beth and Rip series—but nothing’s confirmed yet.
