Police busted a greasy grinch who tried to steal Christmas at Robert De Niro’s house early Monday morning.
Police say they were tailing Shanice Aviles, 30, who was already suspected in five recent burglaries when they saw her enter the legendary actor’s Upper East Side home around 2:45 a.m.
According to ABC 7 Eyewitness News, when police followed Aviles inside, they witnessed her stuffing presents from under Robert De Niro’s Christmas tree into a bag.
Robert made his way downstairs to investigate what was going on but did not interact with or engage the crook.
Shanice Aviles was arrested for burglary.
Sadly, the greasy grinch ain’t new to this…she’s true to this.
Aviles has a long rap sheet that includes 32 prior arrests, of which 20 of them are felonies.
The good news is she was caught and no one was hurt.
