After delivering her acceptance speech, she made an unexpected return to the stage—interrupting the show just to make sure she thanked Tyler.
The hilarious moment when she was reassured that she had already thanked him had the audience laughing, but for Tyler Perry, it meant something much deeper.

I can honestly tell you that I live my life never, ever doing a good thing expecting something in return… I give, do, help, try, and lift us up because IT’S JUST THE RIGHT THING TO DO.
Why did this move me so much? Because I’ve helped thousands of people—literally thousands—live better lives, and I can honestly say, for me to receive a THANK YOU is very rare.
So to see someone interrupt a live show to say thank you when she already had moved me to tears.
