Tyler Perry is bringing Madea out of retirement for his 12th film, A Madea Homecoming, at Netflix.
The streamer has set a 2022 release date for the film.
You may recall, Tyler retired the iconic character in 2019 with much fanfare after the release of A Madea Family Funeral.

Tyler took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce Madea is coming to Netflix.
The entertainment mogul said:
We need to laugh! Too much is going on in the country. We need to laugh.
He confessed, “I was done,” but clearly Madea wasn’t!
