Word on the streets of Twitter is that Kanye West is dropping his new album, Donda, on Friday (July 23) and Ye fans are full of anxiety.
The album is named after his late mother, Donda West ,who passed in November 2007.
Reportedly, Ye had a private listening party in Vegas on Sunday (July 18), where he played snippets of songs off the album from a DJ booth.
According to Justin Laboy, from Revolt’s “Respectfully Justin,” Ye has the album of the year.
There is another listening party scheduled for Thursday (July 22) in Atlanta.
This one will be open to the public, for a fee of course. The tickets are priced from $75 – $85.
Surely, it will sell out.
Last year, on his mother’s birthday (July 12) Ye shared a snippet of his mother reciting KRS-1 lyrics on the intro to a song that many believe will be on the album.
This is too good not to make the album.
Ye fans have been tweeting all month in anticipation of the album, and the tweets with Ms. Donda in them pulls at your heart strings.
