It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news that Trina McGee, beloved star of “Boy Meets World“, has suffered a miscarriage.
The 54-year-old actress, accompanied by her husband, Marcello Thedford, bravely opened up about her experience during an emotional interview on the “Tamron Hall Show“.
“I did lose the baby. It wasn’t expected. It was closer to the end of the first trimester,” Trina shared. “We really don’t have any real reasons why. I was still so grateful to have the experience of being able to conceive at this age and at this time.”
Trina also discussed the deep emotional toll the loss has taken on her.
“A lot of depression after,” she admitted, explaining how challenging it has been to cope.
“You know, I’ve just…kind of heard to get out of bed. There are so many dreams you have when you really want a family and you want your family to be complete. It was very hard to face the fact that that’s not going to happen at this point.”
Earlier this year, in June, Trina had taken to Instagram to share her joyful news, accompanied by the classic tune “Baby Love” by The Supremes.
“At the tender age of 54, I have found myself pregnant,” she radiated happiness in her post. “Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you.”
She even mentioned stepping away from social media for a bit, leaving her fans buzzing with excitement and well-wishes.
