On Day 2 of Tory Lanez‘s felony assault trial, Megan Thee Stallion, the victim in the case, took the stand to testify.

Tory is accused of shooting at the Grammy Award-winning rapper multiple times and wounding both of her feet in July 2020.

He has been charged with one felony count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and another for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

Tory was also hit with a third felony charge of discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Megan arrived at court wearing a short bob, black sunglasses, and a purple pants suit.

The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, was emotional as she testified for four hours about what happened on the night of the shooting, the aftermath, and the impact the incident has had on her life.

When asked if she was “nervous,” Megan responded, “I just don’t feel good. I can’t believe I have to come up here and do this.”

During her testimony, Megan expressed her frustration with the public scrutiny she’s faced and how the focus has shifted from the shooting to her sex life.

“This whole story has not been about the shooting. It’s only been about who I been having sex with. When people talk about Megan Thee Stallion getting shot, all the headlines are Megan Thee Stallion is on trial and I’m not on trial!”

Megan testified that she and Tory became friends and bonded over the losses of their mothers.

She also stated that they occasionally had a sexual relationship (although she publicly denied it during her interview with Gayle King).

As they were leaving Kylie Jenner’s party, an argument erupted inside the vehicle when Tory told Megan to “stop lying” to her former bestie, Kelsey Harris, about the relationship.

Megan went on to share that Kelsey had a “crush” on Tory Lanez.

That was the point where the arguing spiraled out of control and Megan asked to be let out of the car.

As she’s walking away, Megan says Tory opened fire and yelled, “Dance, b**ch.”

“I’m in shock. I’m scared. I hear the gun going off, and I can’t believe he’s shooting at me.”

Megan Thee Stallion said Tory Lanez offered both her and Kelsey Harris $1 million not to tell the police about the incident.

While testifying, Megan explained why she lied to the police and initially told them she stepped on glass.

“At the time, we are at the height of police brutality…I felt like if I said ‘This man has shot me,’ they might shoot first and ask questions later.”

She added, “In the Black community, in my community, it’s not really acceptable to be cooperating with police officers.”

On cross-examination, the defense pressed Megan about lying to Gayle King about her sexual relationship with Tory.

Megan revealed she lied because she was embarrassed.

“How could I share my body with someone who would shoot me?”

Megan Thee Stallion also shared that the shooting has damaged her relationship with Kelsey.

Kelsey met with Tory days after the shooting and Megan felt betrayed.

She and Kelsey have not spoken since 2020.

Kelsey Harris is expected to testify in the trial.

One of the saddest moments in her testimony is when Megan expressed regret about going to the police about the shooting.

“Because I was shot, I’ve been turned into some kind of villain, and he’s the victim. This has messed up my whole life.”

“I wish he would’ve just shot and killed me if I knew I was going to have to go through this torture.”
