In Episode 3 of “SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B,” Kandi shocked SWV at a meeting by saying she feels her group should headline their collaborative show.
Last tour we did we were headlining our own tour.
So how is this going to go when it comes to billing?…
Kandi’s suggestion was met with responses from SWV’s managers and group member Taj saying that they feel that the show should be co-headlined to avoid any feelings and issues between the two legendary R&B groups.
Kandi persisted that XSCAPE feels like they should have top billing because they’ve always headlined their tours.
…I mean I hear what you’re saying, but at the same time our group feels like we want to still have top billing on our tour.
SWV was not feeling Kandi’s suggestion, and Taj and LeLee nicely let Kandi know that the show needs to be co-headlined and it’s not about “my tour, your tour” it’s really a celebration of both groups coming together.
Coko questioned Kandi about why XSCAPE didn’t want to co-headline, and she responded:
I mean that wasn’t really what we were thinking about doing before…
And, this is not having anything to do with you guys personally.
Don’t get me wrong, no disrespect to y’all, we love y’all, we love y’all music, and we respect y’all, you know what I mean?…
But, realistically, we have been headlining our shows…
Tiny chimed in, in a solo cut-away shot, and said XSCAPE should headline because they have a larger fan base because of their reality tv personas and they have millions of more social media followers than SWV.
At the end of the clip, Taj reiterated to Kandi that XSCAPE can headline all they want on their tours, but the collaborative show needs to be co-headlined.

At the end of the episode, SWV stepped away from the meeting and said they felt disrespected because they opened the door for XSCAPE.
Coko made it clear to her managers that they sold 30 million records, and she is not in no way agreeing to let XSCAPE headline the show.
Since when do 7 million records sold trump 30 million records sold?
