The wait is almost over! Showtime has dropped the official trailer and FIVE posters for the second half of “The Chi” Season 6, slated to resume on Friday, May 10.
The hit drama series created by Lena Waithe and executive produced by Common, is a timely coming-of-age story centering on a group of residents on the South Side of Chicago who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.

This season, Emmett (Jacob Latimore) and Kiesha’s (Birgundi Baker) once-harmonious relationship faces a severe test due to Emmett’s risky alliance with Douda (Curtiss Cook), who grapples with the aftermath of Q’s murder, causing a shift in loyalty among his inner circle.
Victor (Luke James) struggles with his complicated past while adapting to his new role as city councilman.
Concerned newlyweds Jada (Yolonda Ross) and Darnell (Rolando Boyce) fear for their son Emmett’s safety after he takes a drastic, life-threatening action.
Meanwhile, Rob (Iman Shumpert) and Tiff’s (Hannaha Hall) cannabis business and Jake’s (Michael V. Epps) apparel line soar to new heights.
However, Papa (Shamon Brown Jr.) continues to grapple with the tragic loss of his beloved father.
