Awww snap! We’re headed back to the southside of Chicago sooner than we thought!
Showtime has announced the premiere date for season 3 of “The Chi” has been pushed up from July 5 to June 21.

Lena Waithe, creator and executive producer of the hit series, took to Instagram writing:
I be reading y’alls comments about the #TheChi Season 3 return. Coming sooner than you thought! We’ll see you back on the South Side of Chicago June 21✊??? tell a cousin, tell a friend!

The new season will welcome a lot of new and familiar faces including Kandi Burruss, Luke James, and Lala Anthony.
While June 21 isn’t that much earlier than July 5…I won’t complain!
