Created by Rapman, known for Blue Story, the series dives into the lives of five ordinary Black individuals in modern-day South London who suddenly gain extraordinary abilities.

The first season of “Supacell” quickly became one of Netflix’s most successful UK releases, dominating top 10 lists globally for weeks.

Even now, the show remains a popular choice for viewers around the world.

Directed by Sebastian Thiel, the series features a talented ensemble cast including Tosin Cole (Bob Marley: One Love) as “Michael,” Nadine Mills as “Sabrina,” Eric Kofi Abrefa (The Book of Clarence, ‘BMF’) as “Andre,” Calvin Demba as “Rodney,” Josh Tedeku as “Tazer,” Adelayo Adedayo as “Dionne,” Rayxia Ojo as “Sharleen,” and Giacomo Mancini as “Spud.”

The show’s success is backed by a strong production team, with Rapman serving as executive producer alongside Anna Ferguson and Steve Searle from Netflix, and Mouktar Mohammed from New Wave.

With the announcement of its second season on X, “Supacell” is set to continue its electrifying journey.
