Warner Bros. Pictures has just dropped a brand new trailer for “Sinners,” featuring none other than Michael B. Jordan in a gripping dual role.
From the visionary mind of Ryan Coogler, the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker behind “Black Panther” and “Creed,” comes a chilling new story of fear and redemption.
“Sinners” follows twin brothers (both played by Jordan) who, desperate to leave their troubled past behind, return to their hometown for a fresh start—only to find that a darker, more sinister force is waiting for their arrival.
As one haunting line from the trailer puts it, “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”
Coogler’s stellar cast doesn’t stop at Jordan.
The film also stars Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (“Bumblebee,” “True Grit”), Jack O’Connell (“Ferrari”), Wunmi Mosaku (“Passenger”), Jayme Lawson (“The Woman King”), Omar Benson Miller (“True Lies”), and Delroy Lindo (“Da 5 Bloods”).
The powerhouse production team includes Coogler himself, along with frequent collaborators Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler.
Executive producers Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield, and Rebecca Cho round out the creative forces behind the scenes.
Fans of Coogler’s previous work will recognize some familiar names on the crew: director of photography Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Oscar-winning production designer Hannah Beachler, editor Michael P. Shawver, Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter—each bringing their A-game to this new, twisted tale.
