Sherri Shepherd is reportedly set to be named “permanent guest host” of the “Wendy Williams Show” this fall.
It’s no secret the comedian, actress, and former co-host of “The View,” has been killing it when she fills in for Wendy, who is still dealing with ongoing health challenges.
According to Page Six, when season 15 of the “Wendy Williams Show” premieres in September 2022, Sherri will step in as a permanent guest host.
However, if for any reason Wendy recovers and is well enough to resume hosting duties of her popular talk show – she will do so.
While this is a huge and wonderful opportunity for Sherri, it’s not a forever thing.
Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Michael Rapaport, Bevy Smith, Terrence J, and Sherri Shepherd are all set to return as guest hosts for the month of February through March 4.
If we’ve learned anything from this it is Sherri deserves her own daytime talk show!
