Shay Johnson is officially a member of the Mommy Club!
The 38-year-old reality TV star and entrepreneur took to social media on Wednesday to announce the birth of her baby girl, Shajiyah.
Shay posted a photo of herself in the delivery room holding her newborn daughter with the caption:
I HAD A SAFE DELIVERY and @iamshajiyah is perfect!!
6 pounds 15 ounces…
I’m officially a part of the mommy club …
This process was emotional but thank you ALL for your support!! ??
She also encouraged her family, friends, and fans to follow her baby girl’s Instagram page.

On Shajiyah’s page, Shay shared a sweet photo of her holding her daughter’s precious little hand.
Shay delivered Shajiyah via C-section due to her previous health challenges.
She took to social media and shared a video of herself at the hospital and shared all of the emotions she was experiencing ahead of welcoming her baby girl.
Delivery time for @iamshajiyah Let’s Go!… This was the moment I’ve been waiting for and running from at the same time.
Emotions: scared, nervous, happy, excited, anxious, terrified… Running out of this hospital is what i wanted to do but thank God for my Moms.
Due to my previa, myomectomy, and fibroids this c section was a must!! Prays was all that’s needed! LETS GO @iamshajiyah

When the cover was revealed, Shay shared why she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret.
I have kept this secret for months but I am now proud to announce I am pregnant with my first child.
I’ve wanted a baby for so long and it is finally happening.
After sharing her pregnancy news, Shay enjoyed every moment of her pregnancy.
A good time was had by all at her baby shower in April!
