In his new interview on “The Pivot,” Shaq is offering a level of transparency that is authentic and refreshing.
The NBA legend talked about a number of things on and off the court including his marriage to Shaunie O’Neal.
The 50-year-old admitted that he “had it all” during his 9-year marriage to Shaunie O’Neal and he also admits, “I know I messed up.”
I had the perfect situation.
Wife was finer than a mug. Kept giving me babies…still finer than a mug.
I had it all. Just sometimes you – and I don’t make excuses – I know I messed up.
You know, when I didn’t have that – I don’t like to use the ‘D-word’ [depression] because I really don’t know what it is but, I was lost.

Shaq and Shaunie tied the knot in 2002 and welcomed 5 beautiful children during their union.
They divorced in 2011.
