Sha’Carri Richardson will miss the Tokyo Olympics after the U.S. track and field star was not selected for the 4×100 relay team.
The 21-year-old, dubbed as America’s fastest woman, was suspended from the Olympic team after she tested positive for marijuana.
While the news of Sha’Carri missing the Tokyo Olympics is disappointing to us, she knew this was a huge possibility based on her recent tweets.
On the Fourth of July, she tweeted:
I’m sorry, I can’t be y’all Olympic Champ this year but I promise I’ll be your World Champ next year 🤞🏾⚡️
