I am elated to report that SAG-AFTRA negotiators have approved a tentative agreement that will end the 118-day strike – the longest against the film and TV studios in Hollywood history.

The deal includes a historic pay increase as well as first-ever protections for actors against artificial intelligence.

In an announcement, the union said the strike would officially end at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday.

Our featured image is of the incomparable actress, dancer, jazz singer, and “Half & Half” star Valarie Pettiford, who was steadfast in the fight for what she and other amazing actors rightfully deserve.

Folks have taken to the streets of Twitter to celebrate the end of the strike!
