Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak has filed for divorce from her husband, Kroy Biermann, following numerous reports of their financial struggles.
According to Kim, the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Legal documents state that Kim lists April 30 as the date of separation from her former NFL-star husband.
The couple was married for 11 years, and they had four children during that time.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s tax records have somehow leaked to the press, and according to legal documents, they owe the IRS $1.1M in unpaid taxes, interest, and penalties from 2013, 2017, and 2018.
Reportedly, they also owe the state of Georgia $15,000 in unpaid state taxes for 2018.
In February 2023, their Alpharetta mansion went into foreclosure.
Truist Bank hired a law firm to handle the process.
The Alpharetta mansion was often seen in the early seasons of “RHOA.”
In February, Kim’s daughters Brielle and Ariana denied the mansion was in foreclosure.
Rumor has it that Kim Zolciak and her family are still inside the home, but her last IG post from the home was in January.
