CBS has unveiled a first look at the upcoming “Wig” episode of “Poppa’s House”.
In this episode, written by Phil Beauman and Shawn Wayans, Poppa faces bad news and responds with some bold changes to his appearance.
The episode is directed by the legendary Robert Townsend.

About ‘Poppa’s House’
Starring the dynamic duo Damon Wayans and his son, Damon Wayans Jr., “Poppa’s House” introduces us to the world of a legendary talk radio host, affectionately known as “Poppa.”
Played by the incomparable Damon Wayans, Poppa finds his life turned upside down when a new co-host, portrayed by the talented Essence Atkins, shakes up his work routine.
But that’s just the beginning of the comedic rollercoaster.
At home, Poppa faces a whole different set of challenges.
He’s still navigating the waters of parenthood with his adult son, Damon Jr. (played by none other than Damon Wayans Jr.).
As if that weren’t enough, Damon Jr. is a brilliant dreamer, juggling his aspirations with the responsibilities of fatherhood and marriage.
With a stellar cast including Tetona Jackson as Nina and Essence Atkins as Ivy, “Poppa’s House” delivers a fresh take on family dynamics and workplace shenanigans.
The CBS Original series Poppa’s House airs Monday, Dec. 16, from 8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
The episode will also stream live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after airing.
