Phylicia Rashad took to the streets of Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate the news of Bill Cosby‘s sexual assault conviction being overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

In a post on her Instagram and Twitter pages, the legendary actress and Dean of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, wrote:

FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted – a miscarriage of justice is corrected!

She knew to turn those comments off because this decision has sparked some very strong reactions across social media.

Phylicia Rashad is now trending on Twitter as people express their disappointment in her and others are calling for her to step down as Dean of Howard’s College of Fine Arts.
