Rapper Omerettà The Great Says She Quit 'Love & Hip Hop ATL' Because They Focused More On Drama Than Hip Hop

Omerettà The Great, a rising Atlanta rap star, revealed recently on the “It”s Tricky with Raquel Harper” podcast that she quit “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” because they focused more on drama than hip hop.

Omerettà said she knew the show normally focused on drama, but she was told that cast members wouldn’t film together and everyone would have their own segment on the show due to COVID.

She was told that the show would focus on her career, and her rise to the top, but it turned out to be the opposite and the focus remained on drama.

She said she would not do “Love & Hip Hop” again, but it wasn’t a total loss because the exposure on the show helped her secure a management team.

Omerettà The Great recently had Atlanta in an uproar with her song “Sorry NOT Sorry,” which called out people living in cities surrounding Atlanta claiming they’re from Atlanta.
