It’s been one year since the incomparable filmmaker John Singleton departed this life.
Nia Long, his dear friend and star of his classic film, Boyz N the Hood, took to social media to remember John.
She posted a photo of his funeral program on her Instagram with the caption:
I’m not sure if this will ever feel real to me. Missing my dear friend, mentor, culture changing artist, an icon. The man who made South Central cinematically famous. I will love you forever. #365days ❤️
