Netflix’s ‘The Harder They Fall’ Pays Tribute To Chadwick Boseman

Netflix’s highly anticipated film, The Harder They Fall, has arrived and not only is the Jeymes Samuel-directed film absolutely fantastic – it also pays tribute to Chadwick Boseman.

There is a scene in the western where a train is featured with “C.A. Boseman” along the side of the cart.

According to Netflix’s Strong Black Lead account, the train is named after our “forever king” Chadwick Aaron Boseman.

Chadwick Boseman passed away on August 28, 2020 after battling colon cancer.

What a beautiful way to honor him in this film.

The Harder They Fall follows the story of outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) who discovers that his enemy, Rufus Buck (Idris Elba), is being released from prison, so he reunites his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge.

The film also stars Regina, King, LaKeith Stanfield, Zazie Beetz, Delroy Lindo, RJ Cyler, Edi Gathegi, Danielle Deadwyler, and Deon Cole.
