Get ready, “Bridgerton” fans! Benedict Bridgerton, the charming and artistically inclined brother of the powerful viscount, is set to take center stage in Season 4 of Netflix’s hit series.
Portrayed by Luke Thompson, Benedict’s story will unfold against the backdrop of an unforgettable masquerade ball in Mayfair.
Remember the man who once mooed from the corner of the ballroom?
Now, he’ll be the focal point of the marriage mart, on a quest to find a mysterious woman known as the Lady in Silver.
“Benedict has always been a little lost — or free, depending on the way you want to look at it. But now he’s trying to find something a bit more solid in himself,” Thompson shared with Tudum.
In a recent video, Luke Thompson expressed his excitement for Benedict’s prominent role.
Executive producer Shonda Rhimes praised Benedict’s ability to “light up” Bridgerton’s spin on Regency London.
“He’s a charming man who’s trying to find his way,” Rhimes told Tudum. “He’s very delightful and funny. I’m excited for everybody to watch him.”
So, what surprises await us as Benedict takes over the Bridgerton mantle? Here’s what you can expect from Season 4.
Who is Bridgerton Season 4 about?
Season 4 shifts its focus to Benedict Bridgerton, the bohemian second son.
Despite his elder and younger brothers being happily married, Benedict is hesitant to settle down.

Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Colin (Luke Newton) must be proud of their brother’s new journey.
Showrunner Jess Brownell is “very excited” to delve into Benedict’s love story after watching his growth over the past three seasons.

“He is someone who has big appetites, and we wanted to see him living a big life before he goes into settle-down mode.”
What can we expect from Benedict’s new life?
While Brownell is eager to reveal more about Benedict’s journey in Season 4, she’s keeping some details under wraps.
“I’m excited for where we’re going with him in Season 4. There are a lot of things I want to say about it, but I should probably wait …,” she teased.
