Nene Leakes yearns for companionship so much that she’s reached the point of considering marriage with someone even if she’s not 100 percent happy.
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star became overwhelmed with emotion during her “Life Of Nene” YouTube series as she recalled going to a doctor’s appointment and having to put down her son as an Emergency Contact.
Nene said in the past she would simply put down her husband, Gregg Leakes.
Sadly, Gregg transitioned to his heavenly home on September 1, 2021, after battling cancer.
Nene Leakes cried as she shared:
I started thinking and saying, ‘Maybe I should just marry whether I’m 100 percent happy with the person or not. Maybe I should marry just so that I have a partner. You know a partner for life.’
I was thinking about having a partner for life even though I know the person isn’t right for me.
I’m just thinking having a partner for life at least there’s someone – maybe we would have an agreement that this person would be there for me and I would be there for them during hard times or medical times or something like that.

Prior to Nene’s emotional video, she had released another video talking about how difficult it is to date over 50.
She talked about how she learned first-hand how narcissistic men can be and then the video switched to a clip of her in the car with her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Nyonisela Sioh.
In the clip, Nene was talking about how she doesn’t really know what it’s like to be single because she’s always been in a relationship.
She acknowledged that it’s something she has some self-work to do and as she is talking Nyonisela turns up the radio in the car to drown her out.
The two get into an exchange and it quickly becomes clear that he is trip and Nene Leakes needs to run – full speed in the opposite direction of him.

It is now apparent that Nene’s desire to have a partner for life may be the reason why she sticks around when Nyonisela clearly ain’t it.
My heart goes out to Nene Leakes and I pray God sends her the right life partner she deserves.
