The NBA has announced they are suspending the rest of the season after a player tested positive for coronavirus.
Rudy Gobert, center for the Utah Jazz, has tested positive for Coronavirus. According to a statement from the NBA, the results were reported shortly before tip-off of tonight’s game between the Jazz and the OKC Thunder.
The statement also read:
The NBA is suspending game play following the conclusion of tonight’s schedule of games until further notice. The NBA will use this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic.
