“Queens” star Naturi Naughton took to social media to react to ABC’s decision to cancel the music drama after just one season.
Naturi starred in the series as “Jill aka Da Thrill” a founding member of the Nasty B**ches — the group she formed with her high school friends.
Da Thrill lived fast, had rugged rhymes and a troubling drug habit.
Today, Jill couldn’t be more put together. She’s a devout Catholic living a quiet life in Montana with her husband. But everything isn’t as idyllic as it seems. Jill is haunted by past secrets.
In a lengthy post shared on her Instagram page, Naturi Naughton reflected on her amazing experience of working with Brandy, Eve, and Nadine Velazquez on the show and expressed her gratitude to ABC, Disney, and Hulu for giving four women of color a chance to shine on National TV!

Thanks to all the fans who took the journey back to 1999 with us… sadly @queensabc has been cancelled ???? but I am still grateful for the experience! #JILLDATHRILL was Soo much fun to play! And I MEAN, working alongside legendary #queens like @brandy & @therealeve was surreal for me!
