Even Mimi Faust is feeling the ripple effects of Diddy’s controversies!

The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star recently revealed that a dating show she had been developing for some time was canceled because of Stevie J’s connection with Diddy.

It seems the network was unwilling to risk potential backlash by associating with Stevie J, who has made it clear that he will remain loyal to Diddy.

During a conversation with her close friend Claudia Jordan, Mimi Faust shared her frustration over the show’s cancellation.

I was going to have a dating show with my daughter’s father on BET Network.

And they – literally, we were going on 8…9 months – almost a year of planning and preparation and picking that cast and the whole nine.

And allegedly BET canceled the show because they didn’t want the association with the situation with Puff and my daughter’s father, who is really good friends with him.

So, this thing with him runs really deep.

Really deep to the point where it’s messing up a lot of people’s money.

Let’s hope that losing a dating show is the extent of the consequences Stevie J faces due to his ties with Diddy.
