Meek Mill was not happy about BET having his baby’s mother, Milan Rouge, rap in a promo for the 2022 Hip Hop Awards.
The Philly rapper took to social media and accused BET of manipulating and setting Milan up for embarrassment by presenting the feature as an opportunity.
Meek took to Twitter writing:
Ion like “bet” got my bm tryna spit bars for attention/clout …it’s like a setup embarrassment made to look like opportunity! and I’m with the “women hustler empowerment motion” but y’all drawin .. Pure manipulation

Who Is Milan Rouge?
Milan Rouge, whose real name is Johnika Harris, is a 33-year-old serial entrepreneur, media influencer, author, real estate investor, and philanthropist hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She is the founder of Milano Di Rouge, a size-inclusive multi-million-dollar unisex apparel brand that focuses on providing affordable luxury to fashion enthusiasts.
Milan and Meek Mill were romantically linked In October 2019 after they went on a baecation together on a tropical island.
In 2020, Milan Rouge welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with Meek Mill.
Meek and Milan split shortly thereafter.

After Meek Mill called out BET for “manipulating” Milan and setting her up for embarrassment, folks took to Twitter to react and they weren’t happy about what he said.
