Lil Tay is alive!

The “World’s Youngest Flexer” claims her Instagram account was hacked on Wednesday when a suspicious statement was posted announcing the deaths of her and her brother, Jason Tian.

In a statement provided to TMZ, the 14-year-old said:

I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say.

It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours.

All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.

For the record, Lil Tay’s brother, Jason Tian is also alive, and Claire Hope isn’t her real name.

The report of the former social media influencer and rapper’s death began to receive a collective side-eye after her father, Chris Hope, her former manager Henry Tsang, and the Vancouver Police Department would not or could not verify the deaths.

At the end of the day, the good news is the child is still alive, but this was some pure foolishness.
