Update (January 19, 2023) – Leslie Jordan’s cause of death has been confirmed as a “sudden cardiac dysfunction.”
The 67-year-old actor and comedian died suddenly on October 24 after suffering a cardiac event that caused him to crash into a building.
Leslie was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office determined Leslie died of natural causes and listed arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease as a secondary factor.
Original Post (October 24, 2022) – It’s with great shock and sadness that I report Leslie Jordan has passed away.
He was 67.
The beloved comedian and actor, who starred in “American Horror Story,” “Will and Grace,” “Hearts Afire,” and “Call Me Kat,” died on Monday morning in a car crash.
Leslie was driving in Hollywood on Monday morning when he is believed to have suffered some type of medical emergency and crashed his BMW into the side of a building at Cahuenga Boulevard and Romain Street.
In 2020, Leslie became a social media phenomenon, gaining millions of Instagram followers due to his humorous videos posted throughout the pandemic.
He shared the video the following video after getting his new condo in August.
Following his untimely passing, the following message was shared on Leslie Jordan’s Instagram page:
The love and light that Leslie shared will never go out and we invite you to share their memories and comfort each other during this time.
In the coming days we will be giving a glimpse of a project Leslie was really proud of and was looking forward to sharing with the world.
