Kodak Black was arrested on Friday afternoon after police popped him riding dirty in Florida.
In a statement, Florida’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles said state troopers pulled over the rapper’s purple Dodge Durango because the tinted windows appeared to be darker than legally allowed and the vehicle had an expired registration.
When troopers approached the car, they encountered the “strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle’s interior.”
Upon searching Kodak’s Durango troopers found a bag with 31 white tablets, which they later identified as oxycodone.
More than $74,000 in cash was also found in the car.
Police identified the driver of the car as 25-year-old Bill K. Kapri, who is known as the rapper Kodak Black.
In addition to the drugs, the money, and the expired registration, Kodak’s driver’s license was also expired.
He was arrested and taken to Broward County Jail.
Kodak was charged with drug trafficking and drug possession.
His attorney, Bradford Cohen, took to Twitter and advised people not to judge a case based on an arrest.
“Never Judge a case based on an arrest. There are always additional facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case,” He tweeted.
He continued, “We will get him a bond today and move forward with resolving the matter quickly. #kodak #kodakblack”

Kodak is a habitual line stepper.
He was arrested in 2019 on weapons and drug charges while trying to enter the United States from Canada.
Later that same year, Kodak Black was sentenced to 46 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of knowingly making a false and fictitious written statement in connection with the acquisition of a firearm.
Former President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in January 2021.
Kodak recently took to social media saying Trump should be president forever.
