Atlanta rapper and actor T.I.’s 19-year-old son, King Harris, found himself in legal trouble earlier this week after a run-in with police in Dunwoody.
According to reports, Harris was driving a BMW when he allegedly cut off a Dunwoody police officer leaving a gas station, almost colliding with the officer’s cruiser.
The officer quickly flipped on their lights and pulled Harris over.
When the officer approached the vehicle, they reportedly smelled marijuana and noticed that King Harris had a gun on his hip.
Acting on this, the officer asked him to place his hands on the steering wheel while they ran his information.
It was then revealed that Harris had an outstanding warrant in Pickens County for failure to appear in court.
The incident report details that the officer asked Harris to step out of the vehicle, handcuffed him without any issues, and placed him in the patrol car after confiscating the firearm.
A search of the car turned up two small bags of marijuana, leading to the arrest of two other passengers in the vehicle.
King Harris was taken to the DeKalb County Jail, while his passengers were charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
