Kevin Durant put the number two pick in the NBA draft Chet Holmgren on notice that he saw him “cookin” on Tuesday night (July 5) in his first NBA game while wearing a pair of Nike KD 15s.

Chet was selected number two by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2022 NBA draft. The same team that drafted KD with the number two pick back in 2007.

A lot of NBA analysts projected Chet to go number one in the draft, but many others questioned how his thin frame would hold up against much stronger bodies in the NBA.

Last night, in his first NBA Summer League game, Chet stepped up to the challenge in a pair of Nike KD 15s with a record-breaking performance.

He became the first player in NBA history with 6 blocks and 4 3-pointers in a Summer League game.

His overall stat line included 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 blocks.

Chet is scheduled to play his second Summer League game on Thursday (July 7) against the Philadelphia 76ers, and the NBA world will be watching.
