Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner are divorcing.
After 18 years of marriage, Christine, 49, filed those papers like Usher to end her marriage to Kevin, 68.
Kevin’s rep confirmed the filing in a statement saying:
It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.
We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.
The “Yellowstone” star and Christine tied the knot in September 2004 and from their union, they welcomed three children: sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 14, plus daughter Grace, 12.
Kevin Costner is also a proud father to daughters Annie and Lily and sons Joe and Liam from previous relationships.
One thing is for certain when it comes to Christine Baumgartner – she knows what she wants and she isn’t going to settle for less.
She dated Kevin for six years before giving him an ultimatum.
Kevin married her saying, “I’m not going to lose her because I’m afraid.”
Then, Christine told the actor that they were going to have kids.
Kevin said she told him, “If you’re going to be with me, you need to know that kids are at the end of the road for me with you, if that’s going to happen.”
And now, she’s apparently done with the whole marriage.
This is Kevin Costner’s second divorce.
He was previously married to Cindy Silva for 16 years and their marriage ended in 1994.
