Kenneth Walker, Boyfriend Of Breonna Taylor, Files Lawsuit Seeking Immunity Under ‘Stand-Your-Ground’ Law

Kenneth Walker, the boyfriend of Breonna Taylor, has filed a lawsuit seeking immunity under Kentucky’s “stand your ground” law.

He claims the night (March 13) police served a no-knock warrant, the couple thought someone was breaking into their home.

Kenneth opened fire, striking and injuring a Louisville Metro Police Department sergeant.

Officers returned fire killing Breonna.

Kenneth Walker was charged with attempted murder and assault charges.

The charges were later dropped without prejudice meaning they could be refiled.

The purpose of the lawsuit is to prevent that from happening.

In a recent press conference, Walker said:

I am a legal gun owner and I would never knowingly shoot a police officer. The charges brought against me were meant to silence me and cover up Breonna’s murder. For her and those that I love…I can no longer remain silent.

It’s a disgrace how long it is taking for Breonna Taylor to get the justice she deserves.
